Parks

White Bear Township is home to 26 local parks, ranging from under an acre to over 38 acres in size. Recreational facilities include a public swimming beach, ball fields, ice skating rinks, picnic shelters, playground equipment, sliding hills, and tennis courts. Township parks provide numerous recreational opportunities for children and adults.

Scheduling & Hours


Neighborhood parks are on a first-come, first-served basis, no reservations are accepted. If you are planning a large gathering at a Township park, contact the Township Offices to inquire if other groups are planning to use a park the same day. The athletic fields at Polar Lakes Park are scheduled by the Community Services and Recreation Department of I.S.D. No. 624.; for schedule information call 651-407-7501.

Park hours are 30 minutes before sunrise and 30 minutes after sunset.

Pets


Pets are required to be leashed and must not disturb others. Owners must clean up after their pets to help ensure the safety and enjoyment for all park users.

Adopt-A-Park Program


Adopt-A-Park is a public service program for community groups, civic groups, churches, and individuals to pick up litter, monitor vandalism, and provide beautification in White Bear Township Parks. For more information, view our Adopt-A-Park Program Packet (PDF).
