White Bear Township contracts with Republic Services for residential curbside trash, recycling, yard waste, and bulky-item pick-up service. Trash and recycling containers are provided to each residence. Trash is picked up weekly, and recycling is picked up every other week. Refer to Republic Services Recycling Schedule to view recycling weeks. Have your trash and/or recycling at the curb by 6 a.m. Please put containers at least five feet away from any structures such as mail boxes, light poles, fire hydrants, etc.

Republic provides the following disposal services:

• Appliance / Bulky pick-ups (three per year only; call Republic to schedule)
• Christmas tree pick-up (first two full weeks of January)
• Every other week recycling collection
• Spring Clean-Up
• Weekly trash collection
• Weekly yard waste collection (April 15 - November 30)

Recycling, garbage and yard waste are picked up on the same day of the week.  Please note that each material is picked up in separate trucks; each collection truck is designed for the materials it picks up, so recycling, garbage and yard waste cannot be placed in the same truck.
